sphere cell replication v.1
here is a replication of stan meyer's spherical resonant cavity. 

 outer sphere is 3 inch diameter 11ga 304l stainless steel, inner sphere is a 1inch 304l solid ball. 

 

 a centering jig was 3d printed to use the pre-drilled hole in the outer sphere as a reference point to drill the other hole.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 the outer wall of the 3 inch sphere was powdercoated in an attempt to prevent electron leakage to the water bath. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 a hole was provided on the outer shell to allow pulsed laser light injection.
