Optical Thermal Lens superheats combustible gas ions beyond 3,000°F for atomic triggering on demand
Liberated, electrically charged and laser-primed combustible gas ions pass through the Optical Thermal Lens assembly, are expelled through a quenching circuit, and reflected through a thermal heat zone via a Deflection Shield that superheats them beyond 3,000°F before exiting through small ports sized to maintain gas pressure; the atomic energy-yield is controlled by varying the applied voltage pulse-train, with the thermal-lens assembly self-adjusting to gas flow-rate.
