A solar ray collecting device for use in space. The device is comprised of a heat-conductive supporting base plate (20) adjacently provided with a large number of hexagonal recess portions (30), a large number of optical systems installed on each of the recess portions, a large number of heatconductive protective bars (24) set up on an upper vertex of a side wall (22) forming the recess portion, and a protective cover for covering a light-receiving surface side of the supporting base plate and having the function of a filter capable of letting visible rays pass through. A pointed end portion of the protective bar is brought into heat-conductive contact with the protective cover.
