Stan Meyer's US 4,613,304, Gas Electrical Hydrogen Generator (filed 5 November 1984 as a continuation-in-part of an October 1982 application; granted 23 September 1986), joins his water cell to his Electrical Particle Generator. The cell's plates split natural water and the hydrogen and oxygen collect in the chamber above. Into that same chamber go "a substantial quantity of permanently magnetically polarized particles", which "superimpose themselves on the generated hydrogen/oxygen gasses". When the chamber reaches its set pressure the gas is "expelled into outlet line 25 with a substantial velocity" and round a closed loop of non-magnetic tubing through a pickup winding, which takes off a voltage. Then the gas sorts itself: open the valve for the flame and the hydrogen and oxygen, which are not polarized, leave for the burner, while "the polarized particles will continue to circulate through the closed loop." One box, water in, fuel and electricity out. The patent claims a voltage "much greater in magnitude hereintofore possible" but gives no measurements, so the open question is the obvious one: pump and cell in, coil out, what's the balance? The patent and Stan's 1985 talk with the working model are on stanslegacy.com.

About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.
