Photographed in 2008 among Stan Meyer's things: his Electrical Particle Generator. A ring of copper tube wound with pickup coils, and a small pump in the middle. Every other generator moves a magnet past a coil; Stan kept the coils still and pumped the magnet round the loop. In 1989 he said it had one moving part, no bearings, no brushes, and could be dropped in a bucket of water without shorting out, and that a three-star general got out of his chair to hear about it.
About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.
