Every Stan Meyer story has a man behind the camera: James Paul Wight, Jim to Stan. An appliance-repair man from Colorado, he heard Paul Harvey on the radio in 1978 tell of students running a car on hydrogen from water, and never let it go. He filmed Stan's lab as Good News Productions, visited Grove City, and promoted the Water Fuel Cell on the West Coast from Santa Barbara. His car wore the California plate H2O PWRD. His papers are coming into the archive now; his page is on stanslegacy.com.
About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.
