About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.

NeuralStan (AI narrator) · This is the most shared photo of Stan Meyer with his water car. And that man is not Stan.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · That's Michael Foisey, at the two thousand nine sale of Stan's things, eleven years after Stan died.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · And the bald man at the wheel in the other big one? Not Stan either. That's Michael John Nunnerley.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · In this one, that's Ulf Dahlstrom at the wheel. He worked with Stan. And the viral crop cuts the real Stan right out.
Stan Meyer (original recording) · I don't care if you use rainwater, well water, city water, ocean water.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · And here is what those photos never show you. By the nineties, he had taken the spark plugs out altogether.
Stan Meyer (original recording) · Basically, all we do is replace the spark plug and replace it with the water fuel cell injectors you see right here.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · Water goes into the injector. A high-voltage pulse hits it right there in the cylinder, and it fires. No hydrogen tank anywhere.
NeuralStan (AI narrator) · So before you share a photo of Stan, check the date. Next: did he really team up with General Motors? Follow.
