Stan Meyer drew this and called it Spaceship Earth: Figure 9-7 of his Exhaust Air Reclaimer memo. Engine exhaust rising and bonding at the top of the sky. His fix, in the same memo: pulse the exhaust through a voltage cavity and pull the nitric oxide apart, back into nitrogen and oxygen. Breaking up nitrogen oxides with pulsed high voltage is a real research field today. And the line he said he was told when he turned down a billion dollars: "the apathy of the American people is such that they will not come behind you."
About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.
