Part 2 of the 1,000-follower drop: the coils in Stan Meyer's Memo WFC 423 DA. Why did he wind some with stainless steel wire? On tape (Colorado Springs, 1991): water between two voltage zones is a capacitor, and "whenever you put a coil in series to a capacitor, you're now setting up a resonant charging choke." A coil opposes any sudden change in current, which is the job he gave it: hold the amps down so voltage does the work. Figure 3-7, VIC Amp Inhibitor Coil Ass'y, specifies stainless steel 430F/FR inductance/resistance wire, bifilar wrapped in equal length with magnet transformer wire, "or, vice versa". Figure 1-19A draws two single resonant charging chokes; Figure 1-19B draws them as a bifilar wrap on one core. Asked in New Zealand in 1989 whether the resistive wire was necessary: "you can put a resistive wire with the coil… some guy is going to say, well, I got a copper coil… well, sorry folks, I got it both ways." And Figure 4-2, VIC Amplitude Control, spells it out: the resonant coils are 430F/FR stainless, the secondary is copper, and the note reads "copper wire may be used in place of stainless steel wire whenever applicable." About the voices. The narrator is NeuralStan, an AI voice the archive uses for its made films. Where you hear Stan Meyer, it is Stan: every word of his is cut from an original recording, and nothing he says was synthesised.
