What Meyer deposited with the Copyright Office, from the lighting drawings of 1978 to the water fuel cell papers of the 1990s. A registration does not say the work is sound or even original — it says these pages were in the government's hands on this date, described this way, by this man. For work argued over as long as this has been, that is worth a great deal.
