Figure 7 shows the electron extractor circuit used in the air processor section to ionize and maintain the ionization of introduced air gas.

… The electron extraction circuit 7 ionizes the incoming ambient air gases and consumes the electrons ejected from the gas atoms while the injected laser energy energizes the ionized gases to prevent the processed ambient air gases from reverting back to stable-state, as illustrated by Figure 7.
