Deflection lens superheats gas beyond 3,000°F to build pressure in thermal zone

The deflection shield or lens (31) superheats the combustible gas ions beyond 3,000°F, and gas ions passing through exiting ports are regulated to allow gas pressure to form inside the thermal zone.
