EPG separates ionized gases via oppositely charged screen-grids into two isolated cavities
In the Electrical Polarization Generator (90), a negative charged screen-grid (4) attracts positive gas ions while a positive charged screen-grid (5) attracts negative gas ions, sorting them into accumulator cavities (30) and (40) respectively. These cavities are electrically isolated from one another to prevent electrical discharging of the gas ions during use.
