Low-voltage direct current applied to safety valve 28 activates solenoid 29, which applies a control voltage to the hydrogen generator exciter 3 via terminal 27 through pressure switch 26, causing hydrogen gas to pass through flow adjustment valve 16 and outlet pipe 5.
