Pickup coil wrapped around one end of EPG tube
A wire-coil (2) or coil-array (2a-2n) is wrapped around one end of the non-magnetic tube to comply with Maxwell/Faraday Laws of Inductance; for the spiral pathway (8), the pickup coil is placed around the spiral to form the coil-array.
