Pulse-voltage across Excitor-Array ionizes argon gas atom
Placing a pulse-voltage potential across the Excitor-Array of the Gas Resonant Cavity, while inhibiting electron flow within the Voltage Intensifier Circuit, causes the argon gas atom to become a positively charged ion by pulling away orbital electrons from the gas atom (Figure 1-5).
