VIC is battery-driven and throttle-responsive, generating high voltage low current pulses

Under computer control, the Voltage Intensifier Circuit is energised by a normal 12V car battery to generate high voltage pulses at very low current (<1 milliamp), with the voltage responsive to the throttle position.
