VIC transformer: copper primary coil, resistive secondary coil, transformer-paper wrap, air-gap coupling

In the Voltage Intensifier Circuit transformer, the primary coil is copper wire and the secondary coil is resistive wire, both insulated to prevent shorting; the two coils are joined on the ground side, wrapped only with transformer paper, and separated by an air-gap providing a step-gap to amp flow (no electrical junction), with the resistive secondary wire retarding amp leakage.
