At 3000 rpm, engine produces 50 revolutions/sec, divided by a 2:1 distributor turn ratio gives 25 rotor revolutions/sec, multiplied by 4 water-fuel injectors yields 100 injection cycles/sec. Dividing the 0.740 ml/sec water-fuel rate by 100 injection cycles/sec gives 0.0074 ml (7.4 μl) water droplet per injection cycle.
