Donna Meyer, née Sowalsky, of 2931 Bryden Road
A family notice in the Ohio Jewish Chronicle of Columbus, 4 June 1981, page 6. The page is in Ohio Memory, the Ohio History Connection's digital collection: Ohio Jewish Chronicle, 1981-06-04, page 6.
What it says
Under the heading MEYER, "Mrs. Donna Meyer, nee Sowalsky, of 2931 Bryden Rd., Columbus" announces her daughter's graduation from a Cleveland Heights high school on 11 June, with plans to study in Israel the following year, and names the daughter's maternal grandparents, then of Naples, Florida, and formerly of Columbus. Stan Meyer is not named.
What it adds
- Her maiden name. The timeline has Meyer's second wife as Donna S.; the notice gives Sowalsky.
- The house. 2931 Bryden Road is the address on Meyer's patent applications of the 1970s, and it is lot 73 of the Bexley Park Extension, Franklin County parcel 010-092168, which the archive holds a recorded release for: mortgaged by Stanley A. and Donna Marie Meyer in May 1972, satisfied in January 1997. The notice puts Donna there in June 1981.
The notice is about a family occasion, not about the work, which is why it is kept on this shelf; see The People Who Knew Stan for the family as the archive has it.
