Deacons to hold annual dinner

BRADFORD — The Deacon’s annual Thanksgiving dinner will be held at the Greenville Creek United Church of Christ, on Buckneck Road, Sunday, Nov. 21 at noon. Deacon President Harold Sarver is in charge.
Stanley A. Meyer of Grove City will speak at the 10 a.m. worship hour. Meyer is involved in developing a complete energy generation system and has been working on energy problems for 20 years.
The public is invited to attend the service and dinner.

BRADFORD—The Greenville Creek United Church of Christ, Buckneck Road, will hold their annual Thanksgiving carry-in dinner, November 21, at noon.
Deacon Harold Sarver will prepare the 10 a.m. Worship Hour with guest speaker Stanley A. Meyer, Grove City.
Pastor Craig Amlin and the Deacons of the Greenville Creek Church invite members and friends to hear Meyer and enjoy the carry-in dinner.
The church is located ½ mile south of Ohio 36 between Bradford and Covington.
Twenty years
“Has been working on energy problems for 20 years”, printed in November 1982, dates the start of the work to about 1962 — the year he was a student at the Institute of Electrical Technology in Columbus and engaged to be married. It is a church bulletin’s round number and it came from him, but it is the earliest date the coverage gives for the beginning of any of this.
The room he was speaking in
A Sunday worship hour in a country church half a mile south of Ohio 36, followed by a carry-in dinner. This is the first speaking engagement the archive can date and place, seven years before Einsiedeln, and it is worth setting against the congresses: the audience for the water fuel cell in 1982 was a Darke County congregation and the venue was booked by its deacons.
