Chamber

Where it is first named

The chamber 155 is a vacuated chamber having positioned in its lower half portion a pair of electrodes 160 and 162 of magnetizable material. A source of voltage 150 and 152 provides voltage and current of opposite polarity via terminals 154 and 156 to the electrodes 160 and 162 via wire connections 164 and 166. The area 161 between the end of the electrodes 160 and 162 is the spark gap.
