Bridge rectifier doubles output pulse frequency relative to AC input
In the first embodiment, AC input at terminals 12/14 is fed through a variable-inductance transformer (field 11) to a bridge rectifier (15); because the rectifier inverts the negative swing, the output uni-polar DC voltage pulse frequency is twice the input AC frequency.
