CORRECTION to #3508: Chris Freedom's bare-exciter runs used a 4 V switching supply, not 12 V
Chris Freedom, Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-01: the switching voltage was reduced from 12 V to 4 V for all the sleeve/bare-exciter tests in #3508. Expected open-circuit forward output is therefore ~40 V per 380T half (4 V x 380/38), ~80 V end to end, not 120/240 V. Measured across the cell: ~1.6 V pulse step. Collapse factor is ~50x rather than ~150x; conclusion (bare cell clamps at electrolyser voltages in 30 ppm water) unchanged. Note: the ~15 V flat-top on each plate vs CT is ~38% of the 40 V half-winding open-circuit value.
