CORRECTION to #3525: Chris Freedom's gate verified at 15.8 V, 3.77 kHz, 20.25% (~54 us on); the yellow ring in #3525 was the gate read against CT, not gate ringing

Chris Freedom, Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-07. Ground arrangement in the #3525 shot: the blue probe ground was on CT 0 V and the gate probe ground was disconnected. The scope's shared ground therefore referenced the gate to the floating CT, so the #3525 yellow trace (400 V Max, ring after turn-off) included the secondary's common-mode swing. Those yellow numbers are withdrawn.
Clean re-shot: gate probe ground on battery ground, CH2 disconnected, CH1 X1 at 5 V/div, 50 us/div. Gate Max 15.80 V, Vpp 16.00 V, Fr 3.770 kHz, +Du 20.25%, which gives ~53.7 us on and ~211 us off. The square is clean at this timebase. The IRF840 is fully enhanced and inside its ±20 V gate limit. The CH2 readouts (80 mV Max, 128 kHz) are an open input and mean nothing.
Combined with #3525: the cell plate responds at turn-off and its 208 kHz ring dies in ~75 us, leaving ~135 us idle before the next pulse. Open: 15.8 V is above a 12 V battery, so confirm the driver supply (or the probe ratio). Edges, the Miller plateau and the turn-off time still need to be read at ≤1 us/div.
