Figure numbers collide across Meyer documents: Fig 4-1 and 4-2 exist twice with different content — header field is mandatory, not optional
CORRECTION / HARDENING of notebook #3365 rule 1.
Two distinct documents in the corpus both use Figure 4-1 and Figure 4-2, with entirely different content:
(a) Memo WFC 423 DA (header band "RE: WATER FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM ... Memo WFC 423 DA", footer "Stanley A. Meyer" + page number):
- Fig 4-1 = Water Fuel Injection LOGIC FLOW CHART (electronic block chart)
- Fig 4-2 = VIC AMPLITUDE CONTROL (coil winding / booster detail)
(b) An UNHEADERED, patent-style document (no header band, no footer):
- Fig 4-1 = WATER FUEL INJECTOR SYSTEM (mechanical plumbing layout: Water Tank (7), Steam Resonator, Gas Processor (80), Air Inlet Port (5), Exhaust Gas Inlet Port (9), Constant Displacement Pump (170), Pulse Gate Valve (190), WFC Injector Plug (20/32), fluid manifold, pressure sensor)
- Fig 4-2 = WATER FUEL MANAGEMENT (WFIS) SYSTEM (block diagram: Voltage Intensifier Circuit as Trigger Pulse -> Pulse Shaping -> High Intensity D.C. Pulsing -> Firing Sequencer, under a GMS Control Unit, with Laser Accelerator Control and Laser Distributor Control; injector plug dwell firing time Vo->Vn; inputs non-combustible exhaust gases (45), ionized ambient air gases (46), water (47))
CONSEQUENCE: figure number alone is NOT a usable index key. Chunks/scans with no header band must go to a quarantine bucket and be resolved by content, never assigned to a memo by figure prefix. This ambiguity is a likely root cause of observed conflation between the <=422 and >=423 generations.
Note (46) "ionized ambient air gases" as a labelled input stream confirms the Gas Processor is a distinct upstream stage feeding the fluid mixing chamber, separate from the WFC.
ADDITIONAL 423 DA FIGURE INVENTORY beyond the Fig 4-1 flow chart manifest (which is therefore incomplete, ceiling is NOT 4-25):
4-3 Optoschmitt Switching Circuit; 4-5B Programmable Pulse Frequency Generator; 4-29 Regulator Isolation; 4-30 Digital Pulse-Width Dual-Solenoid Control; 4-31 Laser Accelerator Matrix Circuit; plus a referenced "Computer Card". Section numbers seen: SEC 18 Bar Graph Meter Ass'y.
Fig 4-31 detail: SEP8526 emitter-array, 220 ohm drive, through an "accelerator shadow-mask with open window" onto an SDP8601 optoschmitt-array; isolation diode network into a 1K resistor ladder with 50K idling adjust; 4011 oscillator (100K, .01 uF) and 4528 (.22-.47 uF, 1 MEG delay trim) -> 4050 -> computer card. Functionally an optical absolute-position encoder for accelerator demand.
