Memo WFC generation index: 423 DA owns the Figure (4-x) band; booster "Big Bobbin" is explicit in 423 DA
Index rule for separating Memo WFC generations in The Birth of New Technology and loose scans.
-
AUTHORITATIVE KEY: the page header field, written "Memo WFC 423 DA" / "Memo WFC 422 DA" (SPACES, not hyphens; sometimes "Memo WFC 420" with no DA). Regex: 'Memo WFC[ -]?([0-9]{3})'. A hyphenated 4xx-DA regex matches nothing in the Birth text.
-
Memo assignments observed: 420 = Taper Resonant Capacitor (ER), Fig (1-1). 422 DA = VIC (60) Fig (3-22), Tri-Coil resonant choke coils (56/62) Fig (3-23), Covalent Switch-Off, Instant Explosion of Water. 423 DA = Water Fuel Injection System: taper injectors, quenching circuit (370), WDMS laser acceleration cards, AND the entire Figure (4-x) control-electronics block. 424 = coil-assembly (580) Fig (6-1) + Taper Resonant Cavity. 429 = Voltage Flexing Process. 430 = Atomic Degaussing.
-
CORRECTION: the Figure (4-x) band is NOT unassigned. Scanned pages 4-1, 4-2 and 4-9 all carry header "RE: WATER FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM / Memo WFC 423 DA". Figure prefix alone is an unreliable key because 423 DA pages cross-reference back to (1-x) figures (Fig 4-2 specifies windings "BIFILAR-WRAPPED AS PER FIGURE 1-19A/B"). Use the header; fall back to figure prefix only when no header exists.
-
BOOSTER / "Big Bobbin": explicitly documented in 423 DA, Figure 4-2 "VIC Amplitude Control". Notes read: booster coil allows primary input voltage amplitude to remain constant while increasing secondary voltage level; booster secondary windings bifilar wound in the same direction; both resonant coils bifilar wound same direction; all coils same polarity of orientation; pulse frequency waveform remains constant during pulse width modulation. Segment switching via COIL SWITCH IN/OUT CONTROL under Primary Voltage Level Control (4-20) and Secondary Voltage Level Control (4-14). Prior community claim that the segmented booster bobbin belongs to neither memo is wrong.
-
GENERATIONAL WIRE-GAUGE DISCRIMINATOR: 422 DA Tri-Coil Construction specifies 430F/430FR stainless "typically .004 Ga. or smaller"; 423 DA Fig 4-2 specifies resonant coils (56a xxx 56n)/(62a xxx 62n) as 430F/FR stainless ".006 GA. WIRE-COIL". 423 DA additionally makes the secondary copper and permits "copper wire may be used in place of stainless steel wire whenever applicable" — an allowance absent from 422 text.
-
SECOND AXIS: Figure 4-1 (Water Fuel Injection Logic Flow Chart) numbers assemblies by SECTION independent of figure prefix — VIC Coil Ass'y 3-1 (SEC 3), Water Fuel Injector Ass'y 2-1 (SEC 2), Differential Solenoid 5-16 (SEC 5), Water Tank SEC 9, Water Meter 11-1 (SEC 11), Water Level SEC 12, Steam Resonant Ass'y 13-1 (SEC 13). Index section numbers separately from figure numbers.
-
INJECTION-PATH TEST for 422 vs 423: 422-era Gas Processor transports ionized gas "through air intake manifold (109) of Figure (3-31)". 423-era injector replaces the bulky resonant cavity unit and eliminates the special hydrogen conduit between cavity unit and fuel injection system (Project Binder 423-DA test-evaluation report). Presence/absence of a gas transport path is a reliable generational discriminator.
-
UNSOURCED: the VIC5 -> Tri-Coil lineage is community/inherited knowledge. The only VIC5 reference in the corpus is a 3D-printed coil-winder fixture, not Stan text. Do not assert it as documented.
