Resolves #3528: Chris Freedom's 'drain' traces were referenced to the secondary CT, not the MOSFET source
Chris Freedom confirmed (Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-07) that the 0 V reference clip for both channels in the #3528 shots was on the secondary centre tap. The primary circuit (battery, buck, IRF840) has no galvanic link to the secondary, so CH1 'drain' = drain relative to CT = primary-circuit common mode (set by interwinding capacitance, Sec A wound directly over the primary, plus the probe's own impedance) plus the drain swing. The 1.0–1.6 kV reading is therefore not a drain-source voltage; the CH1 probe-scaling question (#3523) remains open until the 4 V rail calibration is done. Requested re-shoot: both grounds on battery minus at the MOSFET source, CT not connected to the scope; cell measured separately with a single probe (ground WFC−, tip WFC+, other ground clip removed).
