Sandwich-structure limiter resistor with serial variable resistor for fine tuning
A sophisticated embodiment uses a limiting resistor made of a unique sandwich structure of poorly conductive resistive material and binder (FIG. 7); a second, variable resistor is serially connected to this fixed limiter to fine-tune the circuit until an ammeter reads zero or near-zero current.
