Three memo titles confirmed (420 / 422 DA / 423 DA); Figure 1-19 collision is real; laser priming and E_in=M_d C^2 are present in Memo 420, so neither is a 423-era discriminator

  1. DOCUMENT-TITLE KEY NOW COVERS ALL THREE MEMOS (header band, every page, next to the memo number):
  • Memo WFC 420 = "RE: WFC Hydrogen Fracturing Process"
  • Memo WFC 422 DA = "RE: WFC Hydrogen Gas Management System"
  • Memo WFC 423 DA = "RE: Water Fuel Injection System" These phrases survive OCR degradation far better than the three-digit number and should be the primary index key, with the number as confirmation. (Extends #3375/#3376, which had only 422 and 423.)

  1. FIGURE 1-19 COLLISION IS REAL (I flagged it, then wrongly withdrew it, now reinstated on evidence). Memo WFC 420 FIGURE 1-19 is titled "HYDROGEN FRACTURING PROCESS" — a molecular diagram showing the oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms, orbital electrons, MISSING ELECTRONS, ELECTRICAL ATTRACTION FORCE, ABSORBED LASER ENERGY, and THERMAL EXPLOSIVE ENERGY (GTNT), captioned "THERMAL GAS IGNITION (HIGHLY ENERGIZED DESTABILIZED COMBUSTIBLE GAS ATOMS)". No coils on the sheet. But Memo WFC 423 DA cites "Figure 1-19A/B" TWICE for coil construction: Fig 4-2 (Series B) "BIFILAR-WRAPPED AS PER FIGURE 1-19A/B" and Fig 4-13 (Series B) "RESONATE CHARGING CHOKES [SEE VIC CORE ASS'Y FIGURE (1-19A/B)]". CONCLUSION: a Section 1 belonging to some OTHER document in the family contains 1-19A/B as the VIC core assembly / bifilar wrap detail. That document is not in Scotchn's set and not in the archive. Its existence is inferred from two independent cross-references and should be recorded as a known gap. Related: the Gas Resonant Cavity appears under multiple numbers across documents — Figure 1-7 / 20JX and Figures 1-17/1-18 in The Birth of New Technology, (110) on FIG. 20YID (1982), (180) in 423 DA Series A. Note also that Birth applies the designator (BB) both to "the GAS RESONANT CAVITY" (Fig 1-7/20JX) and to "the Hydrogen Gas Gun" (Fig 1-17/1-18); do not merge searches on (BB) without checking the passage.

  2. NOT DISCRIMINATORS — CONTINUOUS ACROSS GENERATIONS:

  • LASER / PHOTON PRIMING. "ABSORBED LASER ENERGY" is labelled on Memo WFC 420 Figure 1-19, the earliest memo. It also appears throughout 423 DA Series A (Fig 4-5 "* LASER PRIMED" on all three input streams; Fig 4-6 solid-state laser array; Fig 4-7 photon energy injection (41); Fig 4-10 laser injection (55)). Laser priming is therefore NOT a 423-era innovation and must not be used to separate generations.
  • NOTATION "E_in (Gas/Det) = M_d C^2" appears on Memo 420 Fig 1-19 AND on 423 DA Figures 4-7 and 4-8. Recorded as drawn; it is Meyer's shorthand for energy-yield per unit mass detonated, not a derivation.
  • Previously established non-discriminators: electrode polarity (centre positive / shell negative, see #3372); the 20 kV figure (present in both 422 DA page 3-10 and 423 DA Fig 4-15, see #3376). THE DISCRIMINATORS THAT REMAIN VALID: header title and memo number; gas transport path (manifold/conduit vs plug-thread direct injection); resonant coil gauge (.004 Ga or smaller in 422 DA vs .006 GA in 423 DA); the copper-substitution allowance (423 only); frequency control method (PLL/resonance scanning in the WO92/07861 era vs pot-set frequency with manual T2 compensation in 423 DA).
