INTERNAL FIGURE COLLISION — 4-25 IS USED TWICE within Memo WFC 423 DA: (a) Emergency Shut-Down Circuit — per the Fig 4-1 logic flow chart, and per Fig 4-21's output terminal "TO SAFETY SHUT-DOWN CRK'T (4-25)". (b) A delay-timer in the injection timing chain — Fig 4-18 has terminals "TO (HI) VOLTAGE DELAY TIMER R/C NETWORK (4-25)" and "TO DELAY INJECT CRK'T (4-25)". This is an internal collision that header-keying will NOT catch. The index needs figure-level disambiguation within a single memo. My earlier flat assertion that "4-25 is Emergency Shut-Down, not crank sync" was too strong; both usages are documented.

THERE ARE TWO SWITCHED COIL ARRAYS, not one (supersedes #3368 which said primary only): (a) Fig 4-20B Coil Switch-In Control taps the "(VIC) PRIMARY COIL". (b) Fig 4-14 Digital Booster Switch Circuit taps the "BOOSTER COIL ARRAY", explicitly labelled "(VIC) SECONDARY UPPER COIL", with B1 -> resonant charging choke (56) and B2 -> resonant charging choke (62). Fig 4-14 chain: from Laser Accelerator Control (4-4) -> LM3914 in BAR GRAPH SWITCH MODE (1 MEG, 5V full scale, 1.2K/7.5K) -> outputs 10/11/12 -> 220 ohm -> H11D1 optos -> TIP120 (10K, RL, 4.7K) -> 1N4001 -> relay coils -> NC contacts across booster coil segments. "ADD MORE SWITCH CIRCUITS AS REQUIRED". Bar mode (cumulative outputs) means throttle progressively INSERTS booster turns. Contact sense (NC) should be bench-verified before cloning. Note the LM3914 on Fig 4-4 is in DOT display mode as an indicator; the Fig 4-14 LM3914 is the switcher — two chips, two modes.

FIG 4-13 STEAM RESONATOR CIRCUIT IS A POLARITY-SWITCHOVER TOPOLOGY: 4011 oscillator (Pot 6 100K pulse adjust, .01 uF) -> 4528 (Pot 4 50K "pulse delay time", Pot 5 50K "delay pulse width", 1.0 uF) -> 7408 -> cross-coupled 3900 pair (100K, 1M, .001 uF) forming a latch -> 7404 -> 2N2222 -> TIP120 Darlingtons driving BACK-TO-BACK VIC COILS. Load is two Steam Resonator Voltage Wave-Guides, each with a Water Gap, annotated B+/OFF on one and B-/OFF on the other, alternating. Chokes marked "RESONATE CHARGING CHOKES [SEE VIC CORE ASS'Y FIGURE (1-19A/B)]". Annotations: "GO (L) THEN (H) TO TOGGLE (Q) STATE"; "ADJUST (T2) STATE FOR PULSE-RATE SWITCHOVER". Block titled "(VIC) SWITCHOVER CIRCUIT SECTION (12)". So the switchover rate is set independently of the pulse rate. This is bipolar alternation, NOT unipolar pulsing.

The "25MS ~ 3K R.P.M." annotation appears on BOTH Fig 4-8 and Fig 4-18, so it is Stan's working convention rather than a one-off typo. It still does not reconcile: 3000 RPM is 20 ms/rev; 25 ms/rev corresponds to 2400 RPM. Do not propagate it into calculations.
