Chris Freedom as-built VIC transformer: Pri/SecA/SecB on one bobbin, all wound clockwise; S ends dotted; both diodes conduct on MOSFET turn-off (flyback); cross-wired so the negative leg goes through C2 to WFC− (extends #3523)
Source: as-built drawing + reply from Chris Freedom, Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-07. Pri 38T, Sec A and Sec B ~380T each, all on one bobbin and all wound clockwise. Chokes C1/C2 are also on the core. LCR readings, measured on the core with all windings open: Sec A 91.5 mH, Sec B 92.2 mH, C1 92.1 mH, C2 92.1 mH. Pri S goes to +12 V and Pri F to the drain. Sec A F joins Sec B S at the 0 V CT (series-aiding). The left diode sits on Sec A S and passes negative; per Chris it runs through C2 to WFC−. The right diode sits on Sec B F and passes positive, through C1 to WFC+. Derived: if all three windings start at the same end, the S ends are dotted. At turn-on Sec A S goes + and Sec B F goes −, so both diodes block. Both diodes conduct at turn-off, so the cell is charged by flyback. This still needs confirming with a drain-vs-plate trace. C1 on the positive leg matches Don Gabel's estate-pack reading (#3507), where C1 goes to the + exciter. The choke dots are unmeasured; a series aiding/opposing LCR test was requested.
