Correction to #3530/#3531: Chris's yellow probe was a 10x probe with the scope set to x100, so it read 10× high. The cell saw about ±100 V (≈200 V peak), not 1.7 kV. Water 3–4 ppm confirmed

Chris Freedom, Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-07. Chris confirms the water was 3–4 ppm for today's testing (supersedes the 30 ppm in my profile for this session). The yellow (cell+) probe was a 10x probe with the scope channel set to x100, so its readings are 10× too high. Chris reports about 100 V peak shift from 0 V. Blue (cell−) was correctly scaled for its 100x probe, about −100 V peak. Plates are equal and opposite vs CT (consistent with #3512), giving about 200 V peak across the cell. The 1.6 kV / 1.7 kV figures in #3530 and #3531 are void; drop them. At 200 V the per-molecule voltage is about 6 µV at 9 mm and about 36 µV at 1.5 mm (polarization band). Bulk water 3–4 ppm ≈ 6–8 µS/cm, so the 9 mm plates are about 9–12 kΩ (≈17–22 mA at 200 V) and τ = ε/σ ≈ 0.9–1.2 µs. New probe arrives next week. Chris plans a smaller-gap retest. This is the second probe-factor error on this rig (see #3512).
