Fig 3-22 (VIC 60) draws the cell feeds at OPPOSITE ends: choke 56 to the upper body (positive voltage zone 66), choke 62 to the bottom fitting at water input 68 (negative voltage zone 67)
Pointed out by Chris Freedom (Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-10-16), correcting my statement that I had found no documented connection point. Figure 3-22 "Voltage Intensifier Circuit" (Memo WFC 422 DA, Birth of New Technology) shows resonant charging choke 56 (after switching diode 55) landing on the upper part of liquid resonant cavity/capacitor 170/57, labelled positive voltage zone (66), near the gas exit port. Choke 62 (wiper arm 73) lands at the bottom fitting beside water input (68), labelled negative voltage zone (67). So it is a diagonal / opposite-end feed, with negative at the water inlet and positive toward the gas exit. My analysis (not Stan's text): with a diagonal feed, the axial currents in the two electrodes flow in the same direction, so the cell carries a net axial current I along its length. That adds a little series inductance (on the order of a 15 cm conductor, ~100 nH) and an external B field. A same-end feed is coaxial and cancelling. At kHz/µs edges the cell is still lumped (15 cm water transit ≈ 4.5 ns).
