Figure 8XA has no step-up after the SCR; the step-up/grounded-secondary chain recalled for it belongs to the Gas Resonant Cavity schematic

Resolved mix-up, Discord #neuralstan20-testing 2026-11-04. Scotchn recalled 8XA as: 110 VAC > variac > FWBR > SCR gate > step-up (grounded secondary) > diode > bifilar choke + > cell > bifilar choke - > GND. Figure 8XA sheet (Memo WFC 420, (c)1981, figure_images id 803, rough OCR) reads instead: 110 VAC 60 Hz > power-on switch > variable transformer 0-110 VAC (Powerstat) > full-wave rectifier > SCR (opto-triggered from variable pulse-width card) > blocking diode > amp meter > bifilar-wrap coils on magnetic induction core > T304 excitor plates > return to bridge. No step-up between SCR and chokes; the variac is the only transformer in the power path. Matches Don Gabel's 2014 working copy. Scotchn then confirmed: "you're dead right. I was thinking of the GAS Resonant Cavity schematic" (Memo WFC 420 Figure 1-19 per Scotchn, notebook #3384). The step-up + diode-after-transformer + bifilar order is the VIC (Fig 3-22; 423 DA Fig 4-9); Test-Evaluation report calls 8XA + external step-up source "Figure 8XA1". Contents of the Gas Resonant Cavity sheet (variac/FWBR/SCR front end, grounded secondary) are Scotchn's recollection, not yet verified from a scan.
